Debenhams Collect from Store

The UK retailer Debenhams offers some of the best deals in clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty products, furniture, home appliances and electrics, gifts and toys, weddings, and much more. The company has 153 stores within the United Kingdom and Ireland. Their website, debenhams.com offers convenience to customers and a wide selection of items to choose from, from the comfort of home. This saves customers time and money as they can order online and have their product deliver to their homes or they can take advantage of the Collect from Store service and collect their goods at the most convenient location.

Debenhams.com offers UK standard delivery for free (some exceptions) within four working days. It also offers international delivery to countries such as France, Australia, Germany, New Zealand, United States, Spain, and Sweden starting at 7 pounds and up, and within 10-14 working days. The Collect in Store program is designed to offer customers convenience at its best. Customers who do not want to wait for delivery or are unable to be present to receive a parcel, can order their goods online, and collect them at their closest location.

When placing an order online, customers will be shown the three icons representing the type of shipping or the Collect from Store icon. Customers make their selection. With this service, delivery to the local store is free, and within four working days. Collection is available at all Debenhams stores. Customers will receive an email that they can collect their item(s) before they go to one of the stores. Not all items will be available for collection. In that case, you will see the service crossed-out in the order form in your shopping bag cart.

Debenhams offers a list of all the stores in their website. To find the location near you enter the full UK postcode and proceed to click the search button. There is also a list of all the stores for customers without a postcode. This will let customers know each store’s opening time and particular information.

When customers visit their store page, they will see the store opening hours, address and contact number, Manager’s name, and where the Collect from Store point is located in that particular store.

As soon as customers are able to collect in store, they must present their order number or their email print-out and payment card for verification. Additional ID will be required if someone else is collecting the item. Acceptable forms of ID are pension book, passport, proof of age card, driving licence, cheque guarantee card, and their bank card. Stores will have details on their particular point of collection in their own internet page. You can also ask a store representative. Customers must collect their order within 14 days from the notification via email. If customers have a return on collect from store orders, they can return the item(s) within 28 days of receiving the collect notification. Customers will receive emails from Debenhams with information on order status and tracking information.

If ordering online, Debenhams.com accepts these types of payment options – Debenhams Account Cards (including gold and shareholder), Debenhams gift card, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and Delta/Connect.

Debenhams makes it easy and convenient for customers to shop at their stores and online.
